The Wrap : reported that ' Dwayne Johnson Rings in Independence Day With Set Photo

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson sure can, and he pre-celebrated the fourth of July by tweeting out a set photo from his upcoming video game adaptation "Rampage. Grateful to put in work w/ our hard working crew on the eve of our Independence. pic.twitter.com/0qolgyoImW — Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) July 3, 2017"Rampage" is based on the 1980s video game and will feature three monsters who are wreaking havoc across North America — and as is traditional in his films, Johnson is the only hope of stopping them. "Rampage" is set for an April 20, 2018 release.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a brand new shot from the set of New Line Cinema's Rampage, which is now filming in Atlanta, for an April 20, 2018, release. In this behind-the-scenes photo, he's shown in front of a military vehicle with the caption: "Do not go gentle. Byrne (Final Destination 5, The Wolf of Wall Street), Marley Shelton (Solace), Breanne Hill (San Andreas), Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), and Matt Gerald (TV's Daredevil). In the photo, Okoye is likely fighting his way to George, or possibly working in tandem as they fight a giant wolf and lizard who are destroying America. Based on the popular Midway video game, Johnson plays Davis Okoye, a primatologist who shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth.
