The Rock ranks 25th on Forbes ‘Most Powerful Celebrities’ 2013 rankings

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has gone from being one of the WWE’s biggest superstars into one of the world’s most powerful celebrities. According to Forbes.com on June 26, The Rock is the 25th most powerful celebrity in the world.

When The Rock entered Hollywood originally, it seemed like the sky was the limit. His fans loved his action movies and he also threw in some quirky roles to go along with it, learning all he could. He then hit the big time with more family oriented movies, but when his core fans began to tune out those movies, and “The Tooth Fairy” was a flop, The Rock switched things up.

The Rock ranked higher on the Forbes Most Powerful Celebrities list than Tom Cruise, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith and Donald Trump.
