Irina Shayk will be playing the role of Megara opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the upcoming film Hercules: The Thracian Wars, her rep confirms exclusively to JustJared.com.

“For my first time on the big screen…I’m so excited and honored to say ill be working with Brett Ratner on his new movie Hercules!!! Thank u,” the 27-year-old model said about her role.

Hercules: The Thracian Wars will be directed by Brett Ratner and is based on the comic book series of the same name. Irina‘s role Megara is the first wife of the title character.
