- Kevin Sorbo Thinks "It's Kinda Stupid" He's Not in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Hercules Movie
Hero to zero, in no time flat? Kevin Sorbo is not thrilled about having to pass the torch to another Hercules. The actor -- who played the title role in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys from 1995 to 1999, as well as in several made-for-TV Hercules movies -- said on a red carpet recently that he thinks it's "stupid" he wasn't even given a cameo in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's upcoming Hercules blockbuster.

"Dwayne Johnson and I used to work at the same gym for a while. He's a nice guy," the O.C. alum told Dish Nation. That said, Sorbo doesn't appreciate not being included in the star's new film, especially since his iteration of the character was so famous in the 1990s.
"We were sort of taken aback they wouldn't let me in that movie. I didn't do a cameo. I think it's kinda stupid, really," he admitted. "I'm still on all over America, on Netflix, on Hub, on Encore. I'm still in, like, 50 countries around the world. It was the most-watched show in the world in the '90s, passing Baywatch."

"I asked the prop department to lock me in with real steel chains that I couldn't break, so the performance would be real," Johnson posted along with a video on Instagram. "When HERCULES finally accepts his fate of being the son of Zeus, it's THE epic moment of the mythology -- and our movie."
He added, "We shot this scene 8 times -- I blacked out every time. Down to my knees. Well worth the fun pain.. this moment is iconic. Im excited for you to see it... #HercDontLikeBlackingOut #HappilyDoItAgain #HERCULESMovie"
In the video, you see The Rock struggle and struggle, screaming "I am Hercules," until he can't take anymore and his hands collapse on his knees. It's intense, check it out.
Third news
- Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson shares dorky 90s throwback
He’s one of Hollywood’s biggest, meanest and baddest action stars but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hasn’t always been tough.
The pro wrestler turned actor poked fun at the fashion and style of the 90’s at his own expense when posting this this hilarious throwback photo on instagram.
In the shot, the Hercules actor rocks a pair of baggy jeans, a black turtleneck, wristwatch and bracelet.
But it’s the old-school bumbag that really tops off the look.
“Fanny pack and lean take it to a whole other level... #90sRock #WTF,” the super buff 42-year-old captioned the dorky snap.
With his superhuman 6-foot-5 physique, Dwayne, who weighs in at 117kg admits he’s spent most of his life in the gym training.
"I work out for about 90 minutes, or maybe an hour and 45 minutes," he told Train Magazine.
"When I hit the gym, I'm coming! I train hard, I come to kick ass—clanging and banging. With something like "Hercules," I was in costume and make-up for a few hours before shooting, so I'd have to get in the workout early."
And there's no doubt he's training extra hard as he gears up for the release of his next movieHercules: The Thracian Wars, in which he plays the son of Zeus.

Past Poor Luck
In the interview, Rock once again confirmed that the night after WrestleMania 29 he was supposed to start a long-term feud with Brock Lesnar, but that was derailed after he tore two tendons from his pelvis in his match with John Cena.
He said that Rock vs. Lesnar was slated to be one of the main events for WrestleMania 30, and if it went well, they would have had a Visit Wrestling Inc. rematch next year at WrestleMania 31. Rock noted that there are other plans for Lesnar now.
Comeback Talks
As for returning to the ring, Johnson said that he has spoken with McMahon about an in-ring return, and it's just a matter of finding out what opponent makes sense.
He would need to face up against a star that has a real marquee factor to him. Rock noted that there are up and coming stars like Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns who have lots of potential at the moment, but need to truly become stars in the industry for them to be considered.
The crux of the piece however remains that Rocky wants his return, we're just not sure when it will be yet.
